Ebba Brahes pavilion
On the small iland Braheholmen in Fläcksjön is the 1800 century building known today as Ebba Brahe pavilion. It stands on the site of where a small castle were one of several buildings from the 1590th The pavilion has mainly come to be associated with the legend of Ebba's impossible love story between her and King Gustav II Adolf. Since Ebba was not royal, the Queen Mother did not allow marriage between them. Instead, the King himself appointed the commander and personal friend, Jacob de la Gardie to her consort.
